Welcome to my crazy little corner of the world!

Who I am: Fanboy, non-native English speaker, dabbling writer, avid reader, art enthusiast.

My main fandom is HP. Snarry is my OTP, and Snape my favourite character. I like him in nearly every slash pairing, and solo, too. I also enjoy Clark/Lex of Smallville, Holmes/Watson, Kirk/Spock, because they got everything started, and, occasionally, Picard/Q.

This journal is mainly for fandom purposes, but I'm interested in all kind of discussions.

My name: Svartalfur is Icelandic or Old Norse for black or dark elf. Svartalfurinn means the dark elf (the definite article is affixed to the noun). Anders is at the same time a Scandinavian name (Andrew) and the German word for different, odd, queer. So I'm Anders, the dark elf or the odd dark elf. You can call me Anders.
